Introduction

Vocational Training Centre Khairpur is located on the old national highway in Khairpur town. It has a purposeful-build building with spacious workshops, wide Playgrounds, Mosque, Parking area and tuck shop. Within its existing building the center has the capacity of accommodating about 250 Trainees.

For the purpose of better education quality, prosperity, performance and promote the technical education in Sindh, STEVTA and Sindh Government decided to handover Vocational Training Center Khairpur management to Sukkur IBA University. There were discussion and meetings between Sukkur IBA University and STEVTA for best quality education deliver to trainees which were lacking in VTC Khairpur with improper academic and administration and less utilization of their resources. It was 4th January 2016, Vocational Training Center Khairpur was handed over to Sukkur IBA University and their management in which VTC Khairpur existing faculty and admin staff are also included in campus operations.
